Overview

The Flag Act of 1979 (BE 2522) established most of the current unit flags. The designs and (scant) specifications can be found in Chapter 3 (Military Colors), Section 32. Unlike the unit colors that are Royally Granted, these flags are presented by Army leadership and would be used more often than the unit colors.
